TB help please.... I tried search.... looked through 10 pages of results but didnt see what I need help with.
I bought a stock ported TB from Scoggin Dickey Parts. I didnt notice this when I ordered it but when I went back and looked at the website I noticed it says the TB is for 2000 and 2001. So I called and asked if it would work on my '99 and they said they know of no difference and it should work. Im not convinced! I received it from them but its not installed yet. Its going on soon when the heads / cam go on.
I remember reading somewhere that '98 & '99 have a different throttle cable cam than other years? I could have sworn I read that if the throttle cable cam is not right for the particular year, the blade won't open all the way nor close all the way???
Could someone in the know please advise?

The throttle cam is different if I recall correctly. The 98'-99 have a more abrupt rate of opening.
It'd probably be easier to "roll" into the throttle with the later TB. I am just guessing as I have no experience with the later years.My car is a '98.
