Help me Identify my headers
Help me Identify my headers I am trying to positively ID my headers. I am 70 percent sure that they are Hooker headers. Unfortunately I do not have pictures of them because they are on the car, but I will do my best to describe them.
The collector is a slip on type and the headers do not appear to have a chrome finish they are gray in color. The header flange (the part that actually connects to the cylinder head) has protrusions for each runner....hard to explain sorry but each pipe has a circular protrusion that looks like a weld which makes it difficult to get a manifold gasket to seal properly against.
I know this is a crappy description, but hopefully someone can figure it out.

Yup, thats them. Boy is it hard to get a gasket to seal with those raised ports. Why would they design them like that? A flat surface is all that's needed.
