fast intake, anyone have this problem before the throttle will not open all the way the guide for the cable hits the pcv hose, lack almost 1/4 from opening.
should i cut the cable guide slightly??

Yes
I had to use a die grinder with a cut off wheel to cut mine down just a touch and then I ground the edge's smooth with a dremmel tool and sanding drum. Last edited by smokin' joe 00 ss; May 23, 2004 at 06:28 AM.
i did just that after i posted, seems they should put that in the instuctions that they send, found this out while on the dyno tps only going to 75% throttle. wish i would have seen that while it was on the dyno

My 78mm FAST TB and Intake had the following problems :
- Throttle Cam would stick while pressing the accelerator, it was hitting the side (getting stuck) of the intake and was not opening 100%. Used dremel to grind off some of the intake material.
- Bottom of throttle Cam would hit the top of my Meziere EWP - butterfly wouldn't fully close. Used dremel to grind off material on the bottom of throttle cam.
- Quick adjustment of the throttle cable, pressing the accelerator cable we could see the butterfly open but wouldn't close all the way (95% closed).
