Coated Headers and Peeling? I've been seeing some posts about coated headers and peeling issues.
Who has actually had this problem, and what kind of headers do you have? Also, how long have you had the headers and what type of weather conditions have the headers been exposed to?

My car sits outside 24/365,I live close to the ocean but never drive in winter.My FLPs peeled and rusted in 6 months.Mike M and I recieved our FLP headers on the same day,his car is garaged and they look brand new.
I have had mine recoated at Swain Tech with a coating that goes on in three layers and is .015 to .020 thick compared to the normal .002 to .003.Cost about $380 for headers,race pipes and shipping.3 months and they look good.
