Finally got all the parts together and installed this bad boy.... All in all it wasn't too bad. I did have to alter the map on the rear because it was very close to the firewall. I just ended up tapping the rear port with a 1/8" npt straight fitting and using a 1/4" piece of fuel line to route to the map sensor.
The front coolant tube had to be bent down to the block to get it to clear the intake. The only big annoying part was with my meziere. I had heard that it actually provides better clearance...In my case the TB mounting flange where the bottom passenger bolt goes was hitting between the pump and intake face and wouldnt mount up. I had to remove about 1/16 of the mounting flange to get it to slide into place.... Only problem with that was the the throttle cam now hit the pump so the dremel had to come out again.
Just fired her up for the first time and damn it sounds like it could swallow a small child especially with the 85mm maf/bellow setup. I noticed one of my fic injector adapters on my ls3 injectors is leaking at the rail so I'm going to have to loosen that up and see if I can reposition it. Then I just need to make a dyno appointment to get the tune touched up.

I used VHT wrinkle finish from advance or any of those places.... gives it a nice textured look and hides the ugly stock casting. a heat lamp over the wrinkle finish really makes it crinkle up....make sure you use a quality etching primer if you do it. I just went right over them the first time and it flaked off. 2nd time I used zinc primer and it stuck like mad.

dyno is coming soon lol last time it was there it made 390 on a mustang dyno. that was before the meziere and lightweight clutch so im interested to see what shell make now with the 85mm and fast setup. cam only c5z'ss were making 375ish on the same dyno when I was there so I know it reads pretty low lol I'm not expecting huge numbers from it there

yeppp after exploring all my options with flipping the sensor, making a bracket etc I finally just ended up tapping it. It was stupid easy and now if I ever need to change the map I can just reach back and grab on the hose and loosen the clamp as opposed to taking the whole intake off.
I'm still up in the air about the evap canister I removed it and just have it vented under the headlight, every morning I can smell raw fuel when I turn the ac on so I may put it back or re-rig it still trying to figure that one out.
I was really tossing around the idea of doing a 100mm maf and then doing a bigger lid but IDK if the engine really needs it or if it would just be a colossal waste of money with the 85mm setup already being on there.
And 420-425 on that dyno would be kick *** lol. I was on another dynojet before all this locally and it made right around 420 there with everything minus the manifold, SSRA, and Meziere. So I'm hoping now to hit 440 there. Then I'll take her to the track when I get my new tires mounted and see what she does

Nice jake. I actually only have about 30 bucks into the z06/truck maf. I had the stock one on there and I was at the bone yard the other day and saw an 02 tahoe with the maf still on it. So for 12 bucks plus the cost of the silicone coupler I have an 85mm maf setup that i just descreened. So in theory I could still go right to a 100mm and not really be out much money at all. Its just at that point is it worth the headache for my tuner and will it benefit me enough to justify the 200 bucks lol
also if anyone has a few tips to get this thing to fire off dead cold with the fast 92 tb let me know. Warm the car will fire right up but cold i have to hold the pedal for a couple secs. My iac counts are great hot with a stable idle so im lost. I just wanted to get it decently driveable till i get it to the dyno
