Default SE 3" ORY install (results may vary)

First off, this is not intended as a product bash thread. I am very please with the product and price.
The SE 1 7/8" Headers are very high quality and the easiest header install I have ever done. Clearance is excellent in all areas.
So, the Y-pipe...
-Would not just "clamp together" for me. It was tweaking the headers way to much for my liking.
-Ended up cutting a slice in the short section-driver side to make a bend to clear floorboard as I insist on 0 banging.
-Extended passenger side approximately 3" for proper alignment with tunnel/DS loop.
-Cut off the 2 1/2" reducer on merge for a true 3" flow to cut-out.
-Welded merge to y-pipes (less clamping/leaking).
-Used true 3" band clamps on all connection.
-Relocated wide-band now after merge in 3" addition.
-There is no provision for y-pipe hanger (shown in pic but has been removed).

Pics attached to show modification (and parts/pieces not used).

Again, I am very happy with this set-up. I now have ZERO rasp (I know, hard to believe from a Y-pipe set-up). Results will vary from car to car I am sure. This write up is simply what I had to do for my perfectionistic self.

Thank you for the review. Interesting to see different install ideas.

Thanks. That's why they call it Hot Rodding, I guess!

Excellent (for lowered)! Ride height set at 26 1/2" front and 27 1/2" back. The lowest part of the y-pipe is where I made the slight bend to clear the common" banging" area and it is still only about 1/2 - 3/4 inch below the SFC. See third pic.
