Steering rack stuck to k member.
Steering rack stuck to k member. Just in the middle of UMI k member install, removed all brake lines, 2 bolts that attach rack to k member, end links etc. But for some damn reason it's still stuck in there and no amount of prying on it will release it.
Am I missing anything else? other bolts clips maybe, have to get this finished by tomorrow as the neighbour was kind enough to loan me space on his drive.

In other vehicles the rack has ridden on hollow posts mounted to the K member. Once you take the bolts/nuts out/off, you have to pull the rack off the k-member parallel with the orientation with the bolts you removed. In other words, it doesn't just fall off. Can't say F-body is the same bit worth a try..it seems like a bad idea to /not/ have it engineered this way.
