Yes, a quality CC will definitely help.

I have the same issue, but a lot more oil. Was told its pcv issues, and to ditch the ls1 valley cover snd run the ls6. I have the updated pcv valve and a catch can as well.

My experience with the LS6 valley cover is that a good CC is way more effective. I'd go with one of the high quality CC's I listed above first.

Run a catch can and vent to atmosphere. Keep that hot air and oil out of your intake and you will be much happier with the life of your car.

I'd run the driver side valve cover rear port to the CC inlet, CC outlet to the intake manifold passenger side vacuum port inlet. Cap the passenger side valve cover rear port, and run the front passenger side fresh air inlet port to the throttle body fresh air outlet port. If the CC you get doesn't have a PCV valve put one before the intake manifold side vacuum port inlet.

Not a good idea on a street driven engine unless you do very frequent oil changes, otherwise a lot corrosive combustion blow-by ends up in the oil and eventually damages the engine.

For a street driven can you only want it venting to atmosphere if there's positive crank pressure, with a one way valve right before the breathe filter.
This way you can maintain a traditional pcv system, and with used along with a CC keep a majority of the oil vapor out of the intake manifold while also keeping blow-by contaminated in the oil to a minimum for a long engine life with normal 2-3k oil filter changes.
