Default NA 600 crank HP combo ?

My Holley TBI is good up to 600 crank HP . I'm looking at upgrading to TFS as cast 220 cathedral heads on my LQ9 6.0 .
Later , If I upgrade from LQ9 , to a 415" LS3 bottom end , would 600 crank hp and 550 torque be attainable ? Using the 220 heads , Performer RPM dual plane, cam in the 230's , and 1-7/8 long tubes ? I could trim down the plenum , or add a spacer , but hood clearance is an issue.
Car is 3435# without me in it , 3600 stall , 350 gears . From some research , the 220 TFS heads will work well on the 364" and the 415" , but I'm always open to more suggestions to achieve my goal. Thank you .

Yes, 600 at the flywheel is very possible, which is around 500rwhp & 450rwtq. IMO, I'd go with larger heads(230cc) and a cam with at least a upper 230 intake duration in a 415 cu.in. engine.

BTW, very nice looking car!

Thanks ! I could have gone the usual BBC route , but a 500 rwhp stroker LS is enough for the street . And I like the small package it comes in . As it is , it's fun to drive , and will do pretty well at the track on a 100 shot. I emailed AFR about their 230 heads.

Since you have the larger LS3 bore, you can always go for some ported LS3 castings and save some money. Those have been proven on the correct bore.

On my stock 4.00" bore , or do you mean a 4.030 " , if I went 408 stroker ? I would need a new intake and rockers to do a square port conversion. There's no shortage of options

Thought you said in your first post that you're going with a 415 based LS3 engine?

If you're staying with the LQ9 block and bore in the 4.00-4.03 range then cathedrals all the way but something a bit bigger than the as cast 220s unless you plan on getting them worked. For a 415 with 4.065 bore ported LS3s will do the job.

I could stick with this block and get a stroker kit for it ,but I'm not sure on the level of LSX experience, that my local machine shops have. Maybe I would save a few bucks, from buying a complete LS3 415" long block , and selling my complete LQ9 .
Or I could go half way for now , and step up the 6.0 lq9 with a set of AFR 230 v2 heads . I'm not sure how those would work with my 4.00" bore , cam , intake, and stall. The intake has good air velocity, and the cam is on the small side.
