Fast 78 have an opportunity to pick up a fast 78 intake for about what I could get for my LS6 intake. Is it a worthwhile swap? Would the coolant lines still work ( I have the factory LS1 coolant lines, I removed the waffling on bottom of my intake)
I would get it if there's nothing wrong with it.
The coolant lines will need replaced (or some say you can flatten them slightly with a rubber mallet). You will also need to replace the valley cover bolts with allen head cap screws.

I would also countersink them into the valley cover, just a hair, i.e. pull the valley cover and use a countersink bit on the bolt holes, just take a little out. I still had interference issues, even with allen button-head cap screws, cracked the floor of a fast intake near #1 intake runner.
