LS1 exhaust questions

Im thinking about going true duals with an xpipe on my 02 SS. What are the stock manifold collector sizes? I guess my question is, will a 3 inch x pipe fit on stock manifold properly? Or am I better off doing a 2.5 inch throughout? Also does a 2.5 inch mid pipe sound much different then a 3 inch mid pipe?

im sure they can make whatever u have fit with more cost prob better to go with size u got sound diff will be minimal

I have 2.5" true duals with x pipe. I'm going to 3" all the way after my head/cam swap. Sound won't be much louder.
