I have BBK LT's. I had the loudmouth at first, it was obnoxious with the LT's. So I bought a used magnaflow catback and that was too tame. So I purchased the eBay duals without mufflers and used magnapacks. I felt an increase in lower end (exhaust scavenging) and in top end as well. It fit with no issues.

It wasn't bad. We cut the flange sockets off the bbk y pipe and welded them to the new exhaust.

Good info! Where did you get those exhaust hangers? How many did you use and how did you secure them? Looks like its tucked up there nice. Is it louder than loudmouth? Did you run a catted y or ory? Sorry for all the questions. Thx

So you are still using the ball flanges? Im tempted to do this just dont know how dumps would look on my Formula. Im sure ditching the 2.5" y-pipe made a big difference

Just a generic hanger as Hammer said. I only used one and it is very solid. The hanger is welded to the bottom of the floor pan. It tucked up very well, I have yet to scrape on anything. I would say it's quieter than the loudmouth with headers. It rumbles pretty good but it's much easier to live with over the lm1 and headers. Loved the loudmouth before headers. I ran the 2.5 bbk ory. No worries man!

Yes, I cut the flanges off the y pipe and welded them to the duals. Dumps are loud inside the car other than that I have no complaints. I think the firebirds look better with the exhaust finished but that's just me.

Ya thats kinda the reason I have held off on doing it I love the way it sounds but not a big fan of how it looks on Firebirds.

I have the TSP true duals with kooks headers and I love it. It hooked right up without any modification.

Is it better with turn downs facing down or side ways like pictured for less in car drone? Also which way would be better for less exhaust smell?

Angled, the exhaust will exit in front of the rear tires. Also the sound bounces off the ground and resonates if just dumped. Just my opinion.

I for one I really dont understand the appeal of this system. But I guess for guys that like loud , the smell of gas , exhaust fumes and low hanging pipes it fits a niche in the market. For a car that see race use only or a weekend warrior I do understand , but for a DD street car no . It sells because its cheap alternative to good quality single or a real true dual system and can be easy DIY install that can be done in your driveway. And I know there is going to be alot of guys that are going to reply to the contrary , that they run it on their daily driver and it does not hang low and they love it. But Im not buying it , to each his own.

the rear bumper on the camaro (3rd and 4th gen) has no shape to accept exhaust tips IMO. Every tip you put on it looks like an afterthought. Same goes with Foxbody GT.... They look like they belong there if you have a 6LE valance

I would love to see some dyno#'s or before and after track times. Hammer's car sounds great from the vids I have seen it in. I have the ebay td I just have not installed it yet because Ima have to remake my tq arm mount to keep it off the ground.
