Default Normal Block Markings????

Is this normal to have paint maker written here?

Bolts on the accessory brackets look like they have never been touched. This motor was a junk yard pull from a 2004 Silverado for a CJ7 swap.

The salvage yard could not get to this without pulling alternator and accessory brackets off.

The vehicle it came out have may have blown an engine and they got this from a bone yard and swapped it in. Truck was wrecked and then you got it. I'm thinking 2-12 is a date code. either way the mfg wouldnt write that on there
