Coil pack choice

I'm looking to upgrade the coil packs on my LQ4, should I go MSD LS1/LS6, MSD LQ4 truck, or 8.1 MSD? I've heard that the coils that come off the 8.1 give the best bang for the buck, but i'm not too sure, and i'm also looking for a LS1 style power steering complete kit, any ideas on where to look?

Many have reported problems with the MSD coils.

Have a look at the ignition coil upgrade sticky in this section.

You should be able to get every component for the steering off an LS F-body in a junk yard.
