Default What is this plug?

'01 Camaro, ls1, 6sp
I've been looking through my manual but haven't come across what this plug is for yet. It's on the driver's side next to the fuel pressure pulse dampener. It isn't the evap purge connector since that's plugged in (& it won't fit). The wires are orange/pink w/black stripe. according to the manual those are hot/ign.

anybody?
It's not the purge, nor the air temp sensor. It's not the egr (that one is flat). I believe I saw a similar plug either for the reverse lockout or a vss, but both of those are functional so they shouldn't be unplugged.

Can't tell from your pic but do you still have the AIR pump solenoid on the intake with the small vacuum lines going around the back of the intake to the brake booster port.

If the air system has been removed thats what that plug was for.

After I deleted my AIR I had an extra plug like that. It was towards the rear of the manifold on the driver side, just like that.

I sealed it up with electrical tape and tucked it in. It went to an AIR solenoid that was on a bracket towards the rear of the manifold.

Good deal.

I bought the car with the intake installed, so I didn't pull any of the emissions stuff off. I was just curious what it was for.

Thanks fellas!
