Coil Question
Coil Question Hi.
I've been searching for a while and i cannot find an exact answer.
Im putting together an LS based engine for a jet boat. I already have the 6012 msd box and will be running this with a carb.
The engine is an LFA (hybrid aluminum 6.0).
I have 243 heads for it, its just about completely built but i am down to the ignition system.
I bought a set of Truck coils, brackets, and valve covers from a member here.
I didnt realize at the time that they are for perimiter bolt valve covers, and obviously the 243 heads are centerbolt valve covers.
Im not worried abotu the valve covers because i have a set. I dont know how to mount these coils to the brackets.
Before i go through the trouble of creating a new way to mount the brackets, i wanted to ask here if anyone knows of a bracket that will work with these coils and the centerbolt heads?
Through exhausting research, i am thinking that part number 12569188 MIGHT work, but again nothing concrete.
The coils i have look like this:

Thank you for the compliment on the motor, I worked hard on it
The seller sent exactly what he said he would. This is my fault for not paying attention
He sent premiter bolt valve covers, the coils above, and their brackets
Unfortunately the brackets did not come close to fitting so I **** canned them.
