Default Safe to run w/o A/C Belt?

I am just wondering if it is safe, or even worth it to remove the A/C belt when going to the track, or even full time. I rarely use my A/C and would remove the whole system but think I may use it sometime. If you remove the A/C belt, thats three pullies that don't need to be turned. Its pretty easy to remove too. Probably can be done in a couple minutes. Anyone think its worth it, or just a waste of time? I am getting an underdrive pulley soon as well. Thanks

Removing the AC belt shouldn't improve anything, considering the pulley doesn't use energy unless the compressor is on. It'd kind of be like bypassing your idler pulley.

If every once is what you need, taking it off could be worth 2-3 fhp.
The one belt that gives you more if removed is the power stearing belt up to (.1 sec)in time reduction.
