one cutout or 2? are removable cats easily removable?

one cutout or 2? are removable cats easily removable? i have jethot longtubes and am getting the catted y pipe, i want to eventually have the cats welded so i dont have any leaks, but i want to see if my et and mph gets better with cats removed so i was wondering do the cats come off easy? would my et and mph get much better with hi flow cats removed? and if i get electric cutout should i get 2 and have each of them attached to the headers? or just one at the end of the y pipe? thanks guys

ok what if i run the jet hot hi flow cats? wouldnt i want to run one cutout on each header before the cats? honestly would my et and mph be that much greater without the cats ? they are te hi flow jet hots. i need to be legal, and i dont want them to leak so i was gonna have it all welded as long as my times wouldnt be alot better with cats off.
