Coils and plugs? OK, I'm running a C5R with Stage 3 TEA Custom Heads Escalade castings and I was looking at upgrading the stock GM coils. My question is what is everyone's opinion out there on aftermarket coils and plugs?
Performance engines made due with single coil and distributors.
These motors are setup with 8 coils and intended stock to have a 100k tuneup interval.
The very thought that you need look at ignition "upgrades" is rooted in 80s thinking, forget it.

Aftermarket coils seem to fail often. Plugs? Everybody seems to use NGK but I've had better luck with ACDelco plugs.
