HELP!!!!! pass. side valve cover pcv diverters
I sent my Valve covers off to Bret Bauer for powdercoating. When he pc'd them I guess he had to remove the two metal (or plastic) walls inside the valve cover under the pcv inlets. Well, I didn't get them back and I'm pretty sure you need them. I think they divert the ventilation from inside the valve cover passed the rocker arms. Does anyone know what the hell I'm talking about.
I'm having a hard time trying to explain this, if you look at the underside of the passenger side valve cover it's the two big black rectangular chambers. TIA
They are actually plastic and are box looking and use 4 small tabs to attach them to the VC, they are only used on the passenger VC. I'm not sure if they are required are not.
yes, exactlyI think I'm just going to leave them off. I'm assuming they are there only to divert the "ventilation" passed the rocker arms, but to what?? All it is is air passing through there, right.
SOMEONE TELL ME ITS OK TO LEAVE THEM OFF, PLEASE, THEN I CAN GO ON MY WAY TO THE POWER TOUR.
