Exhaust Options on my 422

Exhaust Options on my 422 My 422 stroker is about done.
I plan on putting the Fast intake and the 90mm set upon it, should be a screamer.
My delema is not knowing which way to go with my exhaust.
I currently have mack mid length with y pipe and corsa exhaust.
This set up works great with my current set up.
I had a guy tell me to have a custom collector fabricated and run a 4" pipe back to just before it goes over the axle then go down to a 3" he said by the time the exhaust gets there it will be cool enough to go through the 3" effectively.
Is this true? If so it would be great since I'd love to leave my Corsa exhast on cause I love the tips.
I want to have after the axle exhaust, do they make true dual 3" that would go over the axle and I could use my Corsa tips?

i wouldnt have it any other way
they make some systems that go over the axle, but they are reduced from 3" to 2.5 after the x junction...which really doesnt make a difference

Who has a 1 7/8 longtube set up and X pipe and exhaust to match?
I'd still like to go over the axles and use my Corsa tips.
I need to make a decision soon cause the lanati kit will be here soon.
So here' the list so far Fast intake, 90 mm TB, 1 7/8 longtubes and 3' true duals.
Now who's exhaust and headers to buy??
