Default Custom catted Y pipe help?

I'm going to build a custom Y pipe for my Jet Hot headers and GMMG exhaust. I want to have a pair of carsound cats, and a flowmaster collector for the Y pipe. Now, what size flowmaster collector would I need for this to work with the Jet Hot headers and GMMG? Also, what size cats would I need for this to all work together. I thought 3" but I want to make sure before I buy. Thanks a lot guys!

Depends on if you want a 2.5 or 3" Y pipe. I built a custom 2.5 for clearance and figured 3" was really overkill for a street application. If you go 2.5, you'll need a 2.5-3" Y collector...if you go 3, you'll need a 3"-4" collector with a 4-3 bell reducer. Size the cats to the size of your Y pipe. Carsounds makes both...I'd get the shorter version cats for clearance reasons...they still flow well.

Ok, I can get the carsound cats for a really good price, but they seem to have 2 choices. Should I get the 94000 series or the 94100 series? Thanks a lot, and anymore help you can give me would be great!

Get the 94100 series. They are a shorter version of the 94000, and you will definately need all the space you can get. I used the 94109's in my Y pipe.
