Default squeaking from back of car

Hello,

I have been hearing a squeaking from the back of the car, sounds like the passenger side. It only happens when I am driving. It doesn't happen when I am in neutral or braking.

I thought it was the exhaust pipe touching metal so I raised it up a little but the sound is still happening.

I am thinking of buying the can of spray grease to lubricate everything. Does any one have any idea what could be happening.

It sounds like metal touching metal but I can't find where that would happen other than the exhaust.

Long shot, but on mine the passenger side bolt for the panhard bar had actually rusted to the metal sleeve inside the bushing AND the bracket itself. Made me so mad trying to hammer it out that I finally just torched the bolt out. It would make a metal on metal noise when going over bumps.

This happens going over bumps or on flat ground.

When I googled it someone said it could be the upper shock mounts

That's true.... I had new suspension put on when I first got the car a long time ago. They forgot to put the isolator bushing things in and it made an awful racket over every bump until we figured out the problem. Google "heater hose mod". The bushing that comes out for that is likely what you're missing.

Have you replaced the rear control arms and panhard bar with aftermarket parts? Mine has poly bushings, and the previous owner used the wrong grease on the bushings, so i had ot buy the right grease and pump a tone of grease into them to push out all the old grease, and voila, no more squeaks while driving.

another longshot. i had a squeak that drove me to drink , after 2 years several shops my welder found it. turned out to be the torque arm rubbing / hitting my safety loop.
