Default Best Catch Can?

Catch can question - already have the LS6 valley cover. Which catch can is the best for N/A, H/C/I 5.7L LS1?

Whichever CC you go with if it has the drain valve on the bottom I'd mount it off the frame rail down below the passenger side headlight assembly. This will allow the CC to be more efficient at trapping oil, water, crank case blow-by. Then to drain it cut a hole out in the black plastic panel down below it so you can drain it with out even having to open the hood. This is what I did with my RX single CC, and it works great.

I used the Norris. Once I vented the passenger cover it works very well.

Like was said locate it as far away from the engine as possible. I still had oil in my intake when mine was on the head. Moved it to the fender and everything is bone dry now. Mine is elite engineering and it's been awesome

That's why it's always best to ask. I was looking at head mounted units. Now, I won't worry about that. Thanks for that tip!

Sounds like any quality catch can is good as long as it is properly mounted?

How often are you having to drain the cans?
