Which MAF ?
Which MAF ? Hello guys....
I have a FAST 102/102 that I will be placing on top of a heads and cam. I am currently running the stock maf and am wondering what my best option for the $$$ will be in going to a larger unit. I have read in past post that many simply went with a Delphi 85mm with great results. Also, the upside is that these can be purchased rather cheaply compared to the aftermarket units. My car is an 02 z28.

The stock 78mm will be a restriction on your case. The af10043 Delphi is a common ams inexpensive option. A 100mm may give you a few more ponies over the 85. Just take a little more tuning.

for what the op had been pming me about, here is my setup. even if one was worried about heat soak they could do what i did and simply use the ls1 IAT sensor in the lid instead of using the integrated one in the maf. but honestly this piece never gets hot to the touch and its only a 3" piece of tubing so the air doesnt spend any time in it. i remember the with the stock aluminum one i would burn my hand on it at times.

Verdad Gallardo It's just a spectre 9705 housing which is around 25 bucks on Amazon. Then I picked up a maf sensor for an 08-13 c6 for 30 bucks on Amazon. Next was a Saxon screen 6:1 ratio from their website for like 12 dollars and finally an ls7 to ls1 maf conversion harness for 25 bucks. So just under 100 bucks for a completely new setup. That same deal will cost you over 250 from tsp or lingenfelter
