Upper water pump hose barb...

Anyone sell one? I bought a new pump off E-Bay a few months ago that had an aluminum -16 AN fitting for the upper hose. Took it out today, thinking it was tapped and threaded, but after an hour with a pipe wrench and BFH, found it was pressed in. Needless to say, that fitting is toast. I was able to remachine the remains into an adapter for a 3/4" NPT x 1 1/4" hose barb, but was wanting to see if anyone's run across a (sheetmetal) tubing fitting like stock that can be pressed back in...

I am sure I have a few stock steel ones laying around here if you need one. If not, we have a full line of press in aluminum AN fittings.

That is exactly the piece I removed! Unfortunately, it was ruined during removal but I was able to save the base and tap it for 3/4" NPT. I did piddle with my lathe today and made a press-in barb from a black iron pipe nipple. Contemplating a coating so it doesn't rust, might Parkerize it...
