LT Header Choices???

It all depends on what you want to do with the car. If you want to keep all of your emissions in tact then you will need the headers for your car. 98-99 have EGR and A.I.R., 2000 have both also (either the egr or air is shaped differently I dont remember which) or 01+ which has A.I.R. but no egr. If you want to delete all that stuff and clean up the engine compartment a little, go with the race headers. You will have to either put up with an SES light, or get a custom tune deleting the EGR and AIR. Doing this may make it harder to pass a visual inspection if you have one, but technically, your car should not pass with LT's on it at all. Hope this helped you out some. FYI, I plan on going with a race style header when I do mine and hope that the inspector does not really know what he is looking at (as most of them dont).
thanks, i went with the race style and im gonna have the egr and such deleted and removed, thanks again to everyone who gave me their opinions, this matter has been settles, i ordered up my headers and y pipe tonight and will hopefully have them by end of week or next week and then ill be putting them on and then its off to get a tune, and then im done with exhaust for awhile i hope, hehe.
