electric cutout questions
electric cutout questions Just got my QTP.
1) It looks to me like it may leak a bit at the exhaust plate. Does it?
2) Does the the cutout know when its open to the optimal setting (perfectly horizontal), then fully closed, or is this something I should 'time' myself?

they all do the same thing....
its just because you are holding the button and overtorquing the motor...so when you release the button switch the motor spins backwards a bit...
try tapping the switch to close it and you'll see what i mean

They are not all created equal. the QTEC ones are not as good at the other ones i saw. The QTEC has little holes one each side of the plate that do leak when it is closed and the motors aren't held on too good.
