Y pipe replacement I have a 2002 firehawk, exhaust is bone stock. My Y pipe is dented at the flat oval section. Does the SLP oversize Y pipe 31035 a direct fit for my exhaust. I know my exhaust at the Y is a 3". I contacted SLP and they could not give an answer.
Y pipe replacement IIRC yes, I was looking at it years ago for my 99 & it was a direct fit on later cars but the earlier required modifying it or a mating part.
FWIW most guys on here said it's a waste of money.
Also a few years ago Roush bought SLP & the people there now don't seem to know much about the older cars, I talked to a guy from Roush @ the track 1 time & he said they bought them to get into the late model market.

The SLP Y fits the stock i-pipe, which is 2.75", so the Y narrows down slightly where they fit together. If your i-pipe fits the stock Y it will work. The SLP is nicely made and fits up against the floor without the pipe being flattened.
