used ls6 intake or dorman ls6?

im going to swap the intake on my 98z and was wondering which one to get? I did a search but didn't find anything concrete. from what I read I know the dorman needs some work done to it and also saw some opinions that after being cleaned up that it should easily be able to flow better than the ls6. has anyone ported one and compared it to the ls6? the car has just bolt ons and im lost as to whether to take a chance on the dorman. thanks for any help

If your interested in porting it Id go w/ the Dorman.
