Ok, here's the deal eventually I'm going to get some longtubes and a y-pipe. I just wanted to know you guy's opinions on converters. The only real reason I would go with converters in the first place is to control rasp, I didn't spend a bunch of money on my gmmg just to rasp it all up. I've heard that it will get raspy if I don't use cats. My question is do you guys think that if I used some kind of bullet muffler (borla, dynomax?) in the i-pipe would this give me the same type of sound as having cats? The only clips I've seen (

LS1sounds.com) all have cats on this setup. I've seen a lot of people do this with the loudmouth, but do you guys have any opinions about this with the gmmg?

I put a Borla in my I Pipe not for the rasp, but to quiet it a bit. It works great and the Borla design got rid of any hint of rasp.

It will cut the rasp down somewhat, but it will still be raspy. LT's/Cats/GMMG is by far the best sounding exhaust combo, better than most true duals.
