launch/idle issues

launch/idle issues went to the local 1/8th yesterday to try out the ss since I haven't had it but maybe about a month..
bought it hci previous owner stated it was tuned but it spent a long *** time sitting(over a year)
anyways so after a nice burnout I get to the staging lane, rev to about 1800 and floor it...I think it was around 3500ish or so rpm that the power kept cutting out and in for about a second or two repeatedly until I let off wot and cruised down the 1/8th...turning around the track to pick up my slip the car keeps dying not holding an idle..i let it sit for a good 30-45 mins before leaving and it starts back up, holds idle nicely...as I was leaving I hit it wot a few time without launching and it runs awesome just like before
Any clues on what I might have hear? bad tuning/too much fuel/not enough fuel.. btw it has 42lb injectors and fast fuel rail

When i bought it had a half tank i have gone through 2 tanks of 93, changed oil about 100 miles ago, filter is clean..ill have to check plugs...just seemed like something electrical since the stereo reset all my presets

found out what the issue was, battery tipped over touching the drier causing a nasty short... will be fixing it this week when I get time and headed back to the track for some times
