Default so what's the deal with flexplates?

hi everyone, I'm still running a stock flexplate and I currently have my trans out. I would like to upgrade to a sfi flexplate, but there are a lot of options that are sfi, but prices vary substantially.

I've read some threads from a few years ago, and at that time it seemed like the tci was the go to unit. is that still the case?

I also saw that ati makes a flexplate for our ls1's. does anyone have any experience with it? on Ati's website, they list it as race only?

I spent the money and bought a ati harmonic balancer, so I don't want to go cheap and buy a crappy flexplate. so I'm kind of cautios of the cheaper options like summits 80$ flexplate.

opinions?

Sub'd for info. A flex plate is one the few remaining pieces I need for my build and I'm trying to establish if the TCI is my only top shelf option.

TCI is a fine option.
