I am using a new set of gm gaskets that work awesome. No leaks at all.

Stock original GM gaskets here and no leaks. A friend of mine is also using his originals and he has had the headers on and off about 4 times...still no leaks. Cant beat 'em for $20 a set.

I got a set of copper gaskets from ASE Gaskets. They worked great.
One reason I don't like the stock ones is that they don't have the groves for the end to bolts, you either have to cut them yourselve or take the header off to replace the gasket.

If I am replacing the headers anyway, it should matter right? Because they are already off the car.

I think everyone will agree stock GM gaskets are the best. Why shorties and not long tubes?
