Poor mans header install

This has probably been suggested or done before but i have never saw/heard of it. This is for those who dont want to spend the 90 dollars for the arp stud kit but want the ease of using them for installation.
1. Go to your gm dealer or local bolt shop
2. buy a "ten pack" of oe bolts from gm, or all thread that is exact same size as headers bolts if you go bolt shop method
3. cut 6 of your oe stock header bolts heads off,or cut to length the all thread
4. thread 3 of your de-headed bolts or all thread in to each side of the head till its got a good grip,(might want to use some wd40 so it can be removed with your hand later.
5. slide your headers on with the gaskets so they will now rest on the "Studs"
6. start the rest of you bolts enough to hold them but do not torque them down
7. after you have remaing bolts in, take out your studs one by one and replace with bolts
8. after you get all bolts in,torque them down in the correct sequence.
9. enjoy having done an easier/cheaper header swap

I just put a junk sparkplug in the #1 and #2 cylinders and just rested the flanges on those. Then once I was up top I could lift the header up and thread the bolt in.

Took about 20 minutes...
