Default Knock sensor advice

My knock sensors have made my check engine light come on. I have a high compression motor. Motor is good no issues there. Replaced with new ks's but code came back on. I have not replaced the harness yet. A lot of people are saying to stay with gm sensors and harness. Has anyone tried the ones from tick performance or from anyone else? Are there any knock sensors designed for high performance engines or is that all done by programming when tuning?

knock sensors recognize knock by listening for a specific frequency so it doesnt have anything to do with how strong the motor is. Idk what brand tick sells but just find some ac delco sensors and use those. I had the same issue with parts store sensors, went to ac delcos and never had an issue. Use an ohm metter and check the harness as well. Nothing should have to be adjusted in the tune for mods for them to work correctly
