Power Steering Pump compatability... help!

Power Steering Pump compatability... help! Hey,
I'm desperately trying to find a power steering pump for my hybrid project with a 98 LS1 engine... buying a factory one new is WAY too much $$$!
I found a power steering pump from a 1998 V6 firebird and was wondering if it would work with the LS1 with an LS1 mounting bracket. Would it???
I'm dyin here trying to find a darn pump without spending a ton. Lemme know, thanks!

I just went out and looked at mine. And I couldn't see the mounting bolts well enough to tell if it will fit or not....
I can tell you there are 3 things to be aware of. The LS1 has an integral reservoir, and the v6 had a remote reservoir. The v6 is mounted at the bottom of the engine, and the LS1 is mounted at the top of the engine. And the v6 pulley is smaller, which means it would be overdriven on the LS1 (different size crank pulleys).
If you had the remote reservoir (and mounting bracket) and probably hoses, you might be able to pull it off. I'd swap pulleys too though.
The big question remains, if the mounting bolts match... I could see one, but not the other(s). The one I saw looks like a match.
