Default electric fan question. controller or not?

I have looked up my question and I can't find the answer. So I ask you guy's.

I have ford tarurs duel fans in a custom build. I have it wired so when you turn the car and it gets up to temp no fans turn on. But when I turn the A/C on (no a/c, condenser, blower motor) it operates both fans on high and those suckers really move the air.

I guess my question is.. is it bad to run the fans on high like this?.

It would be simpler to run a fan controller but I like the idea of just using my inside a/c function. I know the down sides, ie. having to turn them off at speed. But hooked up to the A/c I at-least I can't leave them on by accident that way.

Thanks.

2006 Nissan 350z(5.3 forged,6266's).
I reused the stock 350z fan wiring harness so I could unplug the fans if I need to remove them.
1. Cut the ends of both long and short that connect directly to the stock fans.
2. Blue wires from each harness and solder them to the Blue wire on fan 2.
3. Yellow wires from each harness and solder them to the Black wire on fan 2.
4. Green wires from each harness and solder them to the Blue wire on fan 1.
5. Black wires from each harness and solder them to the Black wire on fan 1.

I do have the holley HP efi so I could just wire them in that way or as said just get a fan temp controller with a sensor and whatnot. I was just thinking simple, but was also thinking I could burn the fans out though too.
