Default Help! Coolant crossover pipe repair

I purchased a LS1 coolant crossover tube off of Facebook. I got it and cleaned it up tonight and its in very questionable condition. Upon cleaning all the grease off of it I found a pin hole in it. Is there any way to repair the pin hole?

Second the nipple that the coolant hose attaches to in the front was completely filled with dirt so I would like to flush it out if possible. Is there a way to apply flush water through it with some pressure without it being installed on the car?

Any help would be appreciated, I would really love to avoid a PayPal battle to get my money back.

You could try to solder the hole.

Shove a thin stiff wire through it to clean out the dirt.

you can blow it out with air, but I would send it back it is to much trouble to fix the hole and then install it and have it leak

You should replace it with a new piece. They don't cost much and as much crap is wrong with that one I would not want it on my motor.

You can solder it just like copper pipe. Need a small torch solder and resin. Clean area with sandpaper, brush with resin, heat until solder melts, BAM its fixed. Done it before a few years ago and the guy is still running it, and I cut it and fully capped it off with solder.

Not saying it can't be fixed but the cost for alternative may be worth it. I used an LS3 front crossover and a 6.0 truck rear crossover. Tied them together with some stainless tubing and compression fittings. Works like a charm and cost me an hour of time and $30.
