Exhaust flow question

Exhaust flow question So I recently had my stock CME muffler replaced with a Xr-1 that was installed in the I-pipe rather than where the stock slp muffler was. Muffler guy welded up some piping where stock muffler was that looks a little suspect to me. Check out the photo and tell me if this affects anything negatively. Thx
Exhaust flow question Looks like a J pipe to me. Seems perfectly legit to be honest.
Alot of 5th gen guys like them, as they reduce rasp and drone.
I've never seen one on a 4th gen though, seems cool! How does it sound?

Upon second look, it looks kind of odd. It is capped off right?
