Default Decrease Exhaust Volume on Existing System

So I have the Bassani True Dual system and it sounded great before my head/cam swap. Now its a little too loud (maybe I'm getting old).

Anyway, what are my options to decrease volume without changing the overall sound?

I'm thinking all I can really do is add some resonators/bullets upstream of the Bassani Muffler.

Anybody else have experience with this?

Without buying the same brand muffler, in a quieter series, adding a resonator is about it.

These are supposed to be the bees knees. Gonna put em on my big block 68 Suburban. They may deepen the tone a bit which is usually a good thing. Please purchase, install, report back. Tx.

I'd go after, but it probably doesn't matter much. And where they go might depend more on where they can physically fit than where you'd like to place them. The bottom of an F-body isn't exactly a giant blank canvas exhaust design-wise.
