there is no emissions in MI. i have LM and heard that with an orp it can sound shitty. i have a TC so it would be even louder than a normal a4 with LM and headers.

cats and/or bullets

 

i dont run cats.... and when i open the cutout.... at some RPMs it does sound raspy... but i put up with it since i gain some power with it that way...


but yea if you really want a nice deep sound dont ditch the cats.

 

depend on what you care about.... you care about sound or hp?

if you cant trade the how bout swapping in a dynomax bullit when you lose the cats?

 

it doesn't sound "shitty" it sounds "dirty" with is cool. Only a rasp between 2300-2600. Suprisingly quiet at idle and putting around (thanks to the resonator section), but loud, mean, and violent when you're haulin'. And, nothing compares to the backflow sound on rundown, take your foot off the gas anywhere above 2500 and boom! boom! pop pop bam! It's great and it scares people.

 

God, I love it when it does that. Alot of people that heard it are like WTF. But it's makes it sound beastly to me.

 

I just got longtubes and ory and i love the sound. Floor it and all hell breaks loose and then let up and you have the backflow sound still going.
