Default PCM re-pin question

I am currently re-working a 2001 LQ4 harness to go in my Chevelle, my question is, can i swap, color for color, the left and right ignition coil wires in the harness? The right harness is longer than the left due to the truck PCM location. I know the right harness has the white tracers on the wires but the colors are the same. Thanks all!

Im not sure what it is that your trying to do ? Are you wanting to change the layout and put pcm in a different location like passenger side fire wall .

yes, moving it from the stock truck location to the rear right side of the engine compartment.

Ok gotcha , so you want to lengthen the left side. If your asking if you can just flip sides put the right side on the left and switch the answer is no. I believe your going to have to splice in the added length on the left side . I would keep it the same gauge and color, just in case you have to get back into it at a later time for a repair .
