LSSimple Front Accessory Drive Review
I purchased the LSA supercharger kit for my LQ4 engine. Previously, I've been using the Fbody front drive assembly with my NA setup. Originally I purchased the kit with the generic LSSimple LSA blower setup. This would mound the alternator higher up on the driver side. However, with my low hood line (87 RX7), the higher alternator may have become an issue. After worrying about what the manufacturer might say all night, I gave them a call the next day. And to my surprise, I was able to talk to the owner of the business, Murphy, and he said that it wouldn't be a problem to get me a bracket that worked better for my setup. I would just need to ship out the parts that I didn't need back to him. That was awesome! Murphy is a great, down-to-earth guy who wants to see everyone have success with their projects.
So after receiving the new pieces, we were having to do a little work to get everything perfectly aligned since he didn't originally design the LSA bracket to fit with the lower alternator piece. But that's what's great about his systems! You can build the setup that is right for you and your car! Murphy spent over a week in constant contact with me to make sure that I was completely satisfied. He even sold me a crank pulley out of his own stock when I found out that my spare was the wrong backspacing!!
I just wanted to make sure I spread the word about Murphy and his company. He had great customer service and makes a precise, quality part. I will be getting my new setup running within the next couple of weeks, and I'm sure that all will go smoothly. But I have piece of mind to know that if I need anything, I can go directly to the source and Murphy will help me get it figured out!
