Default What is this sensor called??
On my ls1 there is a sensor right on the oil filter housing. Thought it was the ops but that's on back of intake. Any ideas? Thanks

If it's the oil bypass housing you must have a aftermarket oil temp gauge in the car that would be a guess do you have a aftermarket oil temp gauge?

corvette LS1s came with an oil temp sensor on the oil bypass.
