Default K-Member engine to low!!

98 Camaro...I installed a after market K member, because the guy I got the car from ran in a ditch and bent a few things, plus I was planning on turbos in the future. The K member has the engine sitting about 3inches lower, and now the pipe from the MAF sensor is sucking close at WOT. It has the SLP lid on it. Any suggestions on how to make this work, until I go turbo?

I'm not understanding anything you said, what brand k member first off?

Its a BMR, What im saying is the engine sits lower, and the angle is so steep that the hose from the MAF sensor is bent to the point that at WOT the engine sucks it close.

What part # bmr?

The bmr k member puts the engine in the factory location.

So it should be in the stock location unless the frame rails are bent, at which point how could you even bolt the k member in properly?

You are using factory motor mounts? Do you have any pictures?

And I assume you are using the original MAF sensor ducting?

Stock location, stock mounts everything bolted fine. Stock MAF, it has a SLP lid. I just took and put a filter on the end of the MAF. Ill try to get some pictures up.

Exactly, and how could a new k member line up with a twisted frame.
