Ls2 knock sensors on ls1 block

Anyone ever use the ls2 style knock sensors on an ls1 block?

valley cover is the same so it should work. (unless the connectors are different)

The ls2 sensors are nothing like ls1 sensors and neither is the valley cover. The ls2 sensors normally mount to the sides of the block, to the op, you might be able to get the sensors to work in one of the spare motor mount holes but thats a stretch. Also if you are using an ls1 pcm designed for ls1 sensors the pcm will not be able to talk to the ls2 sensors

I've heard someone had issue with conversion from an LS1 to a LS2 based block works with the need to relocate the knock sensors to the sides of the block with the adapter harness, also check the connectors
