Installing parts for turbo need help Hey guys so I'll be installing my bmr turbo k member this weekend and I was wondering if it would be easier to tap the oil pan for my return line now or when I change the clutch? I don't have a hoist so I'd have to buy one, but if it would be easier to just do it when I swap the clutch then I'll do it then and save the money on the hoist. I feel like swapping the k member will be hard enough don't want to add more complication if I don't need to lol.
If you get the pan off, time to put in the fitting. braze it or weld it in. Then you can cap it if you need to save for later.
make sure its in a place where oil can freely flow, above the oil level of the engine, and away from things that will splash/spray the draining oil around (it may cause oil FROTHING which can delay return and cause a smoking turbo)

Ya I planned to put I the fitting once the pan is down. I was planning to put it right above the oil drain bolt. Would that work? I think I am going to pull the pan down once I do the clutch. The k member seems hard enough for now. Might swap the turbo manifold if it makes easier to do so while the k member is off.
