Default MAF question

I'm thinking about updating Throttle body and Intake manifold from stock 78mm to FAST 92mm. I've been reading where one can leave on 78mm MAF sensor thus avoiding expensive tuning. Any info on this subject would be great.

I'm not sure I understand your confusion.

You don't ever have to change the MAF if you don't want to.

First of all, if you do that then you're almost wasting the addition of a 92mm throttle and intake.

Second of all, even with keeping the 78mm MAF you're still going to require expensive tuning.

I do go 85 MM off a truck etc. Your tuner just changes the MAF value in the tune.
