Default Another intake question.

I have read and read and can't seem to find a solid answer, i have searched for days. Build is tick sns stage 2 231/235 all the bolt on goodies and going with prc 225cc heads. Was planning on running factory ls6 intake. I have 85mm maf and 98 lid. Well upon some research i have kind of found that the ls6 intake might not be enough for a non factory casted head? I have seen some minimal gains on the upgraded intake which i would rather do a 92 if i had to. If its a 30whp gain then i would for sure do it but if its a 15 or so i just couldn't imagine spending 1200$ thanks in advance.

The amount you're going to pickup with a FAST intake is going to depend a lot on the cam and the flow characteristics of the heads. To say you'll gain "x" amount of power with a FAST intake/TB swap would not be accurate, as the gains associated with such a swap is going to depend on several different factors, two of which I listed above.
